Filming the process

I have been weighing my options for how to document what I see and do in New York and I naturally will be taking photos of much of the visual that I see. 


But dance is a "moving" medium and for those events in city that I hope to catch, such as the Asphalt orchestra (yes, I am going to follow not just dance, but music) and Centrifugal force:  Hip Hop Generations  (at the Lincoln Center out-of-doors festival), I will need an easy way to record the procedings.


The bulky camcorder that I have is not Mac or iMovie compatible so I went into the business of researching the new "point and shoot" camcorders.  Each one has its own deficits and assets, but I finally chose the Insignia 5.0 because of its price, weight and compatibility with Mac.


Now as I travel through the city, I can take quick vignettes of what I see.
