but since I have details (checking in to the hotel, getting a metro card, orienting myself to the subway/busses, etc.), I will be going down on Friday morning. So now to me starts the official countdown.
As I have already talked about, I am staying at the Algonquin which is walking distance to Times Square and my very favorite bookstore, Kinokuniya and is near Times Square, Bryant Park and my favorite breakfast place, Le Pain Quotidien (of course I am thinking of food, that is part of the joy of being in New York!).
So today I booked my Megabus tickets. Still a bargain at $32 round trip.
